Welcome to Gateway Special
Recreation Association! Gateway was formed in 1989 to provide
programs for individuals with disabilities and is an extension
of eight park agencies including Burr Ridge, Countryside
Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Pleasane Dale, Westchester,
and Willowbrook.
The Hanson Center in Burr Ridge
is the main office for Gateway and often used as a program
location. The Hanson Center is owned and operated
by Ray Graham Assosiation and sits on 13 beautiful acres
of land. The three full-time employees
with Gateway have offices here and part-time employees utilize
the Hanson Center as a base of operations. Please
feel free to stop by during regular business hours, (8:30
am - 5:00 pm) the Hanson Center is open to the public.
