The Mayfair Recreation Center features general programming
rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a full service
banquet facility.
Mayfair
Recreation Center offers children’s dance classes,
parent and tot classes and a wide variety of both am and
pm fitness classes. These classes range from Pre Dance,
Little Ladies, Ballet/Jazz, Hip Hop, Irish Dance, Shake,
Rattle & Roll, Mayfair Playgroup, Tot Rock, Tone &
Strong, Yoga, Cardio Kick Boxing, Hard Core Basic Training,
30 Minute Abs, Pilates (Beginning & Intermediate), Total
Body Toning, Dynamic Dual, 20/20, Cardio Hip Hop and Zumba
and more.
Fitness
Center is equipped with both a strength and cardio room.
Our fitness equipment includes treadmills, arc trainers,
steppers, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, row
machine, cybex circuit strength system, free weights and
more. We have certified personal trainers on staff to help
customize a program to fit your particular fitness goals.
Our personal training sessions consist of ½ hour
or 1 hour with a one-on-one with a certified personal trainer.
A
babysitting room is provided for members of the aerobics
programs and fitness center at a nominal charge. Our babysitting
room is equipped with an assortment of pre-school toys plus
a few baby items.

This is a unique way for your youngster to learn the fundamentals
of the game. Fun games, competitions, and challenging
skill building activities will be taught by the experts
from Challenger’s British Soccer. Campers are encouraged
to bring a water bottle with them. This camp will be outdoors.

Day Soccer Camp
The camp uses a variety of games and scrimmages designed
specifically by professionals from England (Challenger’s
British Soccer) to develop your talents. All of the staff
are highly trained and will emphasize fundamental development
in each area of the game: shooting, defending, passing,
heading, and control. This program involves quality instruction
for boys and girls. Campers are encouraged to bring a
water bottle with them. This camp will be outdoors. Ball

Our birthday party service is all inclusive! Our staff will
plan your party, purchase all the supplies, set up, decorate,
entertain, and clean up. All you do is send out your invitations

Disc
Golf Course
As part of his efforts to become an Eagle Scout, Jason
Rose of Boy Scout Troop 73 designed and installed a 9
hole disc golf course at Mayfair Park. The course is free
to anyone; however disc golf participants must bring their
own discs to play the course.
Lightning
Prediction System
Something
new in each park is a lightning prediction alarm. Park
visitors and surrounding residents should take shelter
in either their car or a building when the alarm is
activated. The alarm will signify that a lightning strike
is imminent with a 15 second horn blast, after which
a amber colored strobe light will be on until an all
clear alarm is given. An all clear alarm is signified
by three 5 second blasts of the horn.
All park activities should cease when the system is
in alarm. Games must be postponed for the safety of
all participants and visitors. The Westchester Park
District is pleased to one of the only districts to
provide residents and park users this added measure
of safety.
