Addison Creek Channel Improvement Project

The Addison Creek Reservoir and the Addison Creek Channel Improvements are two associated flood control projects that will work together to provide significant benefits to communities along Addison Creek, including Bellwood, Northlake, Stone Park, Melrose Park, Westchester and Broadview. The 600-acre-foot Addison Creek Reservoir will hold close to 200 million gallons of storage capacity and connect with the Addison Creek Channel.

Additionally, MWRD has established a dedicated website for the project. Regular updates, including any significant developments or changes to the project schedule, will be shared through the project website, which can be found at https://judlau-addisoncreek.com. 

PLEASE BE AWARE that there is an easement agreement with Westchester Park District that allows the contractor to use the south part of the dog park at Norfolk Park as a staging area for Addison Creek Channel Improvements.
