Fri May 29, 2020

UPDATE:  May 29, 2020

Dear Residents and Park District Patrons:

Starting today, we begin our journey through Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois Plan.  In this phase we will be allowed to hold fitness classes outside with 10 or less participants and outdoor tennis lessons following the Restore Illinois Guidelines. Information regarding the outdoor fitness programs can be found here.  Information regarding tennis lessons can be found here.

Permitted field usage will be allowed in small groups.  Groups must be 10 or less and each group must be at least 30 feet apart at all times.  Use of the fields is for practice/drills only.  No competitive youth sports will be allowed.

Our day care is also allowed to re-open with strict modifications. We are working to meet these modifications and will have more information regarding day care soon.

We will have in-person registration available at the Community Center only (10201 Bond Street) from 8:30 – 11:00am Monday – Thursday.  Only the lobby at the Community Center will be open and only for registration.  All indoor facilities are still closed.  This includes the Community Center and the Mayfair Recreation Center.

All playgrounds remain closed.  As soon as we receive permission to open the playgrounds we will begin disinfecting the playground equipment.  Once that is complete the playground will re-open.
